Background and career to date

Born and educated in Bromsgrove, Stuart graduated in 1989 obtaining a Degree in Law at Aberystwyth University.

Stuart undertook his training to be a solicitor with Vernon & Shakespeare Solicitors in Northfield, Birmingham, joining them in 1990, and remained with them after qualifying. After working for Vernon & Shakespeare for 6 years Stuart joined the Commercial Department of Talbots Solicitors in Kidderminster in 1996, becoming a partner in 1998. After spending 4 years working at their Stourbridge offices, Stuart left Talbots to join March & Edwards in October 2005.

Within the Company/Commercial Department, Stuart deals with a wide variety of commercial matters including Company Share Sales and Purchases, Shareholder Agreements, Business Assets Sales and Purchases, Franchise Agreements, Terms and Conditions, Partnership Formation and Dissolution and Commercial Leases and Property matters. 

Outside interests

Stuart enjoys football and is a keen Liverpool supporter. He is also particularly interested in television and radio comedy His favourites include Tony Hancock and The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin.

Between 1998 and 2005 Stuart was on the Kidderminster Carnival Committee that was responsible for the organizational arrangements for the eight Carnivals that took place during that period.
